My Journey

I remember always being drawn to my house's computer room growing up. I was obsessed with finding online flash games where I could design my own outfit, create my own character, or build my own world. I've always been so drawn to the ability to create.

Thanks to my parents, I was fortunate enough to get my first Adobe Creative Cloud subscription in 7th grade and get my start in design by animating my own lyric videos using After Effects. It helped me learn pretty early on that marrying both my passion for design and my passion for storytelling can lead to some of the most effective designs being created and the most effective stories being told. It's what inspired me to dual major in not only Emerging Technologies in Business and Design but also Professional Writing and is also what has influenced my current skillset and career aspirations today.

I believe that as important as it is to have the tools and technical skills to make cool stuff, it can all fall flat without the proper research, intent, and storytelling behind it.
